A hands-on program equipping geoscientists with the skills to integrate ML, remote sensing, and geoscience expertise into modern exploration workflows — no prior programming experience required.
The geoscience profession is at a critical inflection point. Remote sensing platforms, distributed sensor networks, and continuous monitoring systems now generate multimodal datasets at scales far beyond what can be interpreted manually.
Rather than outsourcing analysis to data scientists who lack geological context, this program empowers geoscientists and engineers to perform data-driven exploration themselves — becoming active practitioners capable of designing, implementing, and critically evaluating ML-based exploration approaches.
The curriculum is grounded in AI-based geothermal exploration technology developed at Thermofilic, with workflows validated across multiple fields including Brady, Desert Peak, Coso, and Roosevelt.

Tools and workflows you can deploy in professional exploration settings from day one.

Work with actual geothermal field data, not synthetic examples or toy problems.

Weekend visit, when possible, to a mapped geothermal site to ground-truth computational results.

Responsible use of ChatGPT, Claude, and domain-specific AI tools in exploration workflows.
Each week builds on the last, moving from foundational remote sensing and thermal analysis through structural geology and integrated prospectivity modeling.
